York College prof uses ‘The Office’ for teaching

Fictional TV character Michael Scott was tasked with choosing a new health care plan for his Dunder-Mifflin employees.

As with most of Scott’s tasks on the NBC workplace sitcom “The Office,” that request ends in calamity, as Scott misinterprets what he’s been asked to do.

“Does that make me a doctor? Yes, in a way. Like a specialist,” the clueless Scott, played by Steve Carell, says in Season 1′s “Healthcare” episode.
