Michael sabotages–then promotes–Jim’s efforts at getting a promotion, while Dwight and Toby try to prove that Darryl has submitted a fraudulent medical claim.

Episode 3: The Promotion

Jim discovers just how hard being the boss can be when David Wallace forces Michael and him to determine which employees will be getting a raise.

Episode 4: Niagara
Original Air Date—8 October 2009
The Office travels to Niagara Falls to celebrate Jim and Pam’s wedding under strict orders not to mention Pam’s pregnancy. Michael, Dwight, and Andy all want to hook up with guests at the wedding and Michael and Dwight meet twins.

Episode 5: Mafia
Original Air Date—15 October 2009
Michael meets with an insurance salesman that visits the office and is later convinced by Dwight and Andy that he is part of the mafia. Erin accidentally ruins Pam’s painting.

Episode 6: The Lover
Original Air Date—22 October 2009
Jim and Pam return from their honeymoon and learn, to their horror, that Michael is dating Pam’s mom. Meanwhile, Dwight gives Jim a “gift”–which actually has a listening device attached to it.

Episode 7: Koi Pond
Original Air Date—29 October 2009
Michael is upset when he becomes the butt of all the office jokes after he falls in a koi pond. Andy and Pam go out together on some cold calls, and everybody mistakes them as a married couple.

Episode 8: Double Date
Original Air Date—5 November 2009
Michael sparks more anger from Pam when he breaks up with her mom on her birthday after he finds out she’s 58, and Dwight unsuccessfully tries to get everyone in the office to owe him a favor.

Episode 9: Murder
Original Air Date—12 November 2009
The entire office is preoccupied about rumors of Dunder Mifflin’s bankruptcy. Michael tries to create a distraction by engaging everyone in murder-mystery game, but Jim wonders if that is a good idea.

Episode 10: Shareholder Meeting
Original Air Date—19 November 2009
Michael speaks out of line at the Dunder Mifflin shareholders meeting and creates a big problem for management, while Jim discovers that nobody in the office thinks he’s the “real” boss.

Episode 11: Scott’s Tots
Original Air Date—3 December 2009
10 years ago, Michael promised a group of 3rd graders he would pay for their college tuition if they graduated. Now comes time to pay, and he can’t do it. At the office, Dwight’s “Employee of the Month” idea gets Jim in big trouble.

Episode 12: Secret Santa
Original Air Date—10 December 2009
Michael gets upset when Jim promises Phyllis that she can be the office Santa, but the office Christmas party may be overshadowed by some bad news from David Wallace.

Episode 13: The Banker
Original Air Date—21 January 2010
A banker representing a potential buyer comes to the Scranton branch to interview the H.R. department before the sale goes through.

Episode 14: Sabre
Original Air Date—4 February 2010
When Sabre comes in to take over Dunder Mifflin, Michael struggles to accept Sabre’s new policies. Pam and Jim have an interview for a local daycare they really want to get into. Andy and Erin work on a welcome song for Sabre as Erin waits for Andy to ask her out.

Episode 15: Manager and Salesman
Original air date—11 February 2010
The office is eager to welcome Sabre CEO Jo Bennett to Scranton, and are dazzled by her Southern ways. But when Jo finds out there are two branch managers, she says either Michael or Jim must go back to being a salesman. Meanwhile, Andy’s Valentine’s Day plan backfires. Guest stars, Kathy Bates and Zach Woods.

Episode 16: The Delivery Part 1 & 2
Original air date—4 March 2010
Pam’s contractions begin but she and Jim are determined to wait it out as long as possible so they can have more time at the hospital. Meanwhile, the rest of the office tries to distract Pam from the pain with food and entertainment. Michael anxiously waits for Pam and Jim’s baby to be born. Back at the office, Erin makes Andy jealous when she has lunch with Kevin.

Episode 18: St. Patrick’s Day

Michael struggles to please the new boss.
Michael thinks he impressed Jo only to discover someone else in the office caught her eye. Meanwhile, Dwight makes trouble on Jim’s first day back from paternity leave. Andy and Erin have an interesting first date.

When the sales staff lets Sabre’s new “sales is king” policy get to their heads, Michael hides their new, prized leads. Guest star: Zach Woods

Episode 19: Happy Hour
Original air date-25 March 2010
Michael gets kicked out of the bar when he whips out all of the stops to impress a friend of Jim and Pam’s. Meanwhile, Andy and Erin do their best to keep their relationship under wraps. Dwight rethinks his pre-natal contract with Angela.

Episode 20: Secretary’s Day
Original air date-22 April 2010
Andy pulls out all the stops to give Erin a memorable Secretary’s Day. Michael reluctantly takes Erin out to lunch and lets slip about Andy’s relationship with Angela. Meanwhile, Oscar circulates a viral video he created that compares Kevin’s voice to Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster.

Episode 21: Body Language
Original air date-29 April 2010
Pam and Jim work on their first sales pitch together to Donna (guest star Amy Pietz), the manager of a local restaurant. But Michael keeps misreading the signals she’s putting out. Meanwhile, Dwight encourages Kelly to try out for the minority training program.

Episode 22: The Cover-Up
Original air date-6 May 2010
Michael suspects Donna is cheating on him and puts P.I. Dwight Schrute on the case. Meanwhile, Andy is frustrated when no one takes his customer’s complaint seriously.

Episode 23: Whistleblower
Original air date-20 May 2010
The press finds out that Sabre’s printers catch on fire. Jo (guest star Kathy Bates) shows up to the office in hopes of finding out who the whistleblower is. Everyone suspects Andy, who adamantly denies he leaked the information.
