Dunder Mifflin’s “hometown” will become the first city to offer a new DVD board game based on “The Office.”
Mindy Kaling, writer, co-executive producer and the actress who plays Kelly Kapoor on the hit NBC sitcom set in Scranton is scheduled to visit the city July 19, according to a Monday new release from the network.
“We’re pleased with the introduction of a board game for ‘The Office,’ Scranton Mayor Chris Doherty said. “This is an indication of the great success of the show and it presents the city another opportunity to showcase itself, so we’re thrilled.”
Brian Baumgarten, who plays “Kevin” on the show, will make an appearance in Scranton July 25, Mr. Doherty said. He is scheduled to attend a Counting Crows concert and visit city landmarks. To read the rest go here.
