When I saw this episode of The Office, I laughed, I cried, I wet myself. Wait scratch the last part. But seriously folks this episode of The Office was one of the funniest episodes this season. Steve Carell was adorable in this episode when he was all emotional about loosing the chair model when he never even had her in the first place. The “musical chair” scenario was hilarious and the only reason why it took so long was that Michael was too distracted to care. When Jim told the viewers he was holding on to a wedding ring since they first started dating, I was practically squealing like a five year old but really. Well I did shout out “Yes!” though. When the staff had to park their cars in a farther lot which was good for Jim and Pam who used the walks as romantic trails, made Andy and Kevin annoyed that they had to walk for ten minutes (well an half hour for Kevin). The highlights of this episode are:
• Finding out that Stacy had left Kevin
• Michael and Jan broke up
• Pam and Creed waiting impatiently for their new chairs
• Michael is out on the field
• Upcoming wedding bells heading our way
The sweetness of this episode touched my heart. Seeing however how Jim teased Pam into thinking that he was going to propose was a cruel punishment for us viewers but it was funny. Keep up with great work Cast and Crew of The Office!!!!

I thought this episode was awesome! B.J. Novak is a genuis writer and I felt as though it was a throwback to a season 2 episode and that made me happy. My Favorite quote was from Michael: Hello Oscar Meyer Wiener -lover. I bet, that you have a bunch of very liberal girl-type friends, who trust you implicitly, because they know you’d never touch them given your condition.
I was so excited when I thought Jim was going to propose to Pam! I’m happy to know that an engament is coming soon.
I definitely thought the episode was great, the end was hysterical when Michael and Dwight were singing and dancing at the gravestone. The only thing that makes me wonder is when Jim said to Pam, oh Im going to propose. The look on Pam’s face was one of two things… 1) She couldnt believe this day was actually happening, or 2)oh my god, I dont know if I can say yes. I wouldnt be surprised if during the last episode of the season, Jim proposes and Pam either says no, or they leave it as a cliff hanger. Its too perfect for Pam and Jim to get married, so I think there is going to be some drama. Look at the show Cheers with Sam and Diane. For years they were back and forth, then she was replaced by Rebecca. Not saying that Pam will be replaced…. but there will be some drama.
It was a very good episode with Michael delivering some really funny lines, many of which might sadly go uncaught to the casual viewer. For example, his request of Oscar to set him up with a woman “in the literal sense” (or words to that effect), which implies no transvestites. He also alludes to Oscar’s “condition” (i.e. homosexuality). Also, he gave the woman he mistook for his blind date “a 10 for looks and a 3 for her ability to describe herself” because she did not match the description. It was Michael at his most offensive, which is to say his most loveable.
Also, that was perfectly done at the end when Jim gets down on one knee. I thought, “There is no way he would be so cheesy as to propose so soon and in such a poor manner. It is not consistent with his character.” Fortunately, the writers not only did not disappoint, they took it to the opposite extreme and created a very funny, ‘typically Jim’ situation. Very well done.
Ditto with the michael quote! When Jim pulled out that ring, I about peed my pants! Also when he and Pam were walking from work discussing dinner plans and he got down on one knee…my heart stopped lol. My addiction to the office may land me in therapy one day lol
I loved last nights episode a lot! It was a perfect blend of awkward, hilarious and touching. Those are my favourite kind of episodes. (Casino Night, The Job)
What can I say about Jam? Oh that was awesome! I squeeled at my tv!
I cannot believe I’m going to say this but I did not like the episode, I’m not a hater,as a matter of fact I love the office, but this thing with michael and the dead girl made him look kind of a creep, I know is a show and Is just me. The only highlight was with pam and jim and just as the girl that wrote the review, I stood up in front of my tv and clapped, squeeled, and did a little jump. besides that, it was blahhhh.
I loved this episode! I thought the best part was the name Kevin put on the index card-”Wendy-hot and spicy red-head”. I start laughing every time I think of the conversation. In fact, I think about it so often people are probably wondering if I am on something LOL.
Jim’s “proposal” was completely in line with his character. I love that he bought the ring a week after they started dating, and I love that he’s teasing Pam a bit.
Michael was so offensive. I laughed so hard when he tried to convince Pam’s landlady that he wasn’t the one she was meeting there, and how he was called on it my the coffee guy. Michael is a creep, but what makes it so funny is when you think about your boss saying and doing these things-OMG! I really wouldn’t know what to do!
