If you are anything like us, you eagerly wait for Thursday nights to see just what Angela is up to on the Emmy award winning show, “The Office.” Playing the seriously uptight accountant, Angela Martin, Angela Kinsey is anything but. A newish (and fun!) mom, Kinsey is also the new face of Clairol, working with them to help women learn about coloring their hair. She even colored her own before last Sunday’s Golden Globes. Seriously.
We sized up Angela in our PINT SIZED interview:
• What did you want to be when you grew up?

Her television show might have been nominated for a Golden Globe Award, but Angela Kinsey didn’t need the help of a posh salon or team of stylists to help her primp. In fact, the Clairol spokesperson got glam for the red carpet in the comfort of her own home. Skipping the expensive highlight job, Angela tells PEOPLE.com, “I colored my hair with Nice ‘n Easy [in] Natural Medium Neutral Blonde. Because the Golden Globes are a big fancy party, I actually had a friend help me.” And unlike other starlets, Angela Kinsey didn’t hit the gym or change up her diet to prep for the red carpet. “I always try to drink lots of water,” Angela says about getting her skin in shape. And to keep her body fit? “Chasing Isabel!”

Despite logging long hours as an actress alongside her costars, Angela Kinsey could never truly relate to the parents on set who felt torn by the demands of children and a career. That is, of course, until she became a mother herself to Isabel Ruby, 19 months.
“I remember a friend of mine was a working parent and we were filming something together,” Angela recalls in the winter issue of Mom. “She was really quiet and I said, ‘What’s the matter?’ She said, ‘I’m missing bath time.’ I didn’t have children yet, but I get it now.”
