General Chat Rules



GENERAL CHAT RULES:

-Please be kind to each other.

-Please keep most of the chat about The Office. I understand that we make friends and talk about many other things, so talking about The Office when brought up is a must especially when new chatters come in. Many new people or those who aren’t regulars may not understand the inside jokes and will feel left out. Switching to a topic about The Office when others come in is a must.

-ABSOLUTELY NO HARASSMENTS OF ANY KIND

-NO sexual or explicit content is allowed to be discussed. This is a family chat. Please keep swearing to a minimum.

-Please stick to ONE user name. Multiples will be deleted.

-Please use your REAL name in part of the username that you create. Example: Bobblehead_Gary

-To report a bully chatter that’s harassing you or anything else, please tell one of the moderators (Mose, Frankie or MON) in the chat. You can also email Mose privately at Mose@theofficechat.com or Nette at NettesLayouts@aol.com.

-If you’re reporting someone please include the name of the person used in the chat room. If you’re reported by another fan, or we see that you’re being mean, causing trouble or acting out, you’ll be blocked or kicked from chat. Action will be taken.

-Respect people’s opinions. NO arguing.

-Involve everyone in the chat into your conversation. Do not try to control conversations.

-No spamming allowed.

-DO NOT make fun of or discredit any other website while chatting. The chat owner periodically goes through the chat transcripts.

-The owner of this site and chat moderators have full rights to kick or ban anyone who breaks rules repeatedly. That’s the last thing we want to do.
