Q. Is this the main site for The Office?
A. Nope. We’re just a pretty awesome fansite that supports The Office show, cast members and we love art. You can get to the main NBC site by going here.
Q. I have a special request for an Office-themed Facebook timeline cover photo, Myspace layout, wallpaper or graphic, who do I contact?
A. You can email the admin of this site, Nette, and she’ll listen to your ideas or you can leave a comment on this post below. Please understand that all requests are done on her time so be patient. Also note, we do not do any personal requests such as family pictures and so on. This is strictly for Office related things.
Q. How do I save an image to my computer?
A. To save an image from this site or from around the web to your computer, all you do is right click on the image and scroll down to “save as”. Be sure to save it to a folder or your desktop so you can easily find it. On different browsers, you can actually click on the image and drag it to your desktop.
If you need to resize an image of ours you will need to edit the image on Photobucket, Picnic or any other photo enhancement site.
Q. I love the wallpaper/graphic you just made, but I’d like to use it on my phone or as a background on my blog, is that okay?
A. Yes! Feel free to use our backgrounds on just about anything you can think of! The only thing we ask is for you to leave our watermark on the image. It helps spread the word about our site.
Q. I make Office art too and I’d like to show you some of it. Can you tell other fans about my work?
A. Yeppers! We love to showcase fan artwork. In fact, if you’d like, we will make you your very own blog post on our site, where you can upload just about any creation to share with our readers. No one is turned down. Make sure you contact Nette to get started.
Q. Where do you get your Office news from?
A. We search the internet for the most up-to-date news about The Office for our readers. We do not get our news from just one source. NBC emails our admin about updates too! We also get news tips from our readers. If any of our readers send us news, we credit them in the post. If you have news you’d like to share, please go here to submit it. So we are always current on Office news.
Q. I went to TheOfficeChat.com and it landed me here on this site, what happened?
A. TheOfficeChat.com contacted NettesLayouts.com and asked if we could merge websites. They wanted to bring in new fans and freshen things up a bit. Now, TOC has a new home and since October 2011, NettesLayouts.com is the new owner of TheOfficeChat. Please make sure you update yourself on the new rules of the chat too.
Q. I have a complaint about the TV show, The Office. Who can I contact?
A. Well since this is just a fansite, you will need to contact NBC and you can express your concerns to them. We do not forward complaints or any suggestions to NBC unless we specifically ask for suggestions from fans. If you’re having technical difficulties with an NBC video that’s posted on our site, please email NBC’s technical support.
Q. I still use Myspace and want to use one of your layouts but what do I do with the code? Where do I put it now?
A. Good question, and I have been getting this a lot lately. Since the decline of Myspace, they’ve tried to get people back by revamping the way Myspace looks and how you design your profile. Right now, the code under my layouts are useless unless you’re still using Myspace 1.0 or 2.0. If you’re on the latest generation of Myspace, then how you design your profile is totally up to you using their “Build Your Own Theme” generator. They don’t let you upload codes for specific pre-made layouts anymore. They want you to use their handy layout builder (that’s quite easy to use) and create your own. You can still upload an image to your Myspace as a background, it’s all completely customizable. Feel free to use any of our wallpapers or images in our older layouts, as your background on Myspace. Whatever we make here is free for you to use creatively as you wish.
Q. There’s a technical problem with your site, what do I do?
A. Just send us an email to let us know of any technical problems. We really appreciate the help!
Q. I’m a writer and LOVE The Office. Can I write reviews for your site?
A. We would love it. Email Nette and send her your review, she will post it.

Thanks so much for making this site! I am such an addict.
I want to add a layout to my wearecrohns social network site but right now they are only allowing us to use embed codes. I’m sort of computer illeterate and was wondering if it was possible to get an embed code instead of the html code that you have listed? I don’t know if this is possible or if its possible for me to convert it myself, but if you have time I would LOVE IT!

Hi Amber! I really appreciate you contacting me about this special request! However, I’m unable to make any layouts other than MySpace because I’m not skilled enough in coding to do so. I would suggest googling templates for your website and checking around for something that you like. I wish I could make you one, but like I said I have no idea how to make those kind of layouts. Nette! It’s me Janell!!! I just happened to notice this morning that my layout was missing. It’s got a message on it that your account has been inactive for 90 days. It says that all over my profile. So I came here to see if there was a new code or something but it say the same thing here in the Office layouts section. I use the Jam memories black and white layout, not the 2.0 version but the older version. If you aren’t able to fix it just let me know. You know where to find me! I love that layout though. So I hope you can fix it. Thanks!!

I think it’d be really awesome if a Facebook cover photo was made of the scene in the episode “Moroccan Christmas” (season 5) where Dwight is sitting in his chair in the ‘confessional room’ and he’s surrounded by the Princess Unicorn dolls and he/the caption says “Fa la la la la, la la ka ching”
(It’s at about 16:06 on Netflix.)
