It’s starting already…The neighborhood boys are completely captivated by my cute and loveable daughter, and I don’t blame them. She’s the most precious baby this side of the Wilkes-Barre Airport. Now please don’t mention this to the little boy’s mother, but he’s not good enough for Cece. First off, I’ve seen him eating dirt on more than one occasion.

Summary: Pam’s contractions begin but she and Jim are determined to wait it out as long as possible so they can have more time at the hospital. Meanwhile, the rest of the office tries to distract Pam from the pain with food and entertainment. Michael anxiously waits for Pam and Jim’s baby to be born. Back at the office, Erin makes Andy jealous when she has lunch with Kevin.
Congrats to Jim and Pam for the birth of their healthy baby girl, Cecelia Marie Halpert on 3-4-10! Weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces and 18 inches long!!
Jenna Fischer became a mom and an aunt the very same week.
“The same week that we were shooting the episode where Pam’s baby is born, I was becoming the aunt for the very first time,” says Fischer, who spoke with PEOPLE about Thursday’s hour-long episode of The Office, in which her character Pam gave birth to a girl, named Cecelia Marie Halpert.
“Literally the day we shot Pam’s going to the hospital, my sister was going to the hospital, and the same day we shot me coming home from the hospital, my sister came home from the hospital. It was crazy! And so my dad [Jim] had one daughter going through it for real and another faking it.”
And thanks to Fischer, both babies have the same name.
“I got to name my baby!” says Fischer, who successfully lobbied The Office writers to use the name Cecelia. “I said I would really love to name the baby after my niece, so I did.”
