I really liked this episode. I think the hug between Holly and Michael was so needed. The facial expressions by Creed were great! There were many funny and awesome scenes to this episode and over all I’d give it 4 out of 5 dundies.
Oh, gosh, I loved it! Well, maybe not so much the birthing scenario with Dwight and Michael, hee, hee, but the rest of it was great – particularly when Michael walked up to Holly at the end, hugged her sweetly and she got teary-eyed – man, I did, too! His asking her out and his smile as he turned and walked away was priceless.
I loved this episode! The watermelon baby; Jan’s “terminal stage of pregnancy”; Dwight and Andy competing to see who could give birth the best; the interaction between Holly and Michael; the wistful ending scene of Pam and Jim leaving coinciding phone messages;I thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan singing ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ nonstop at her baby shower; Darryl telling Michael not to call himself a baby daddy; Phyllis referring to Angela as a grape head; Dwight testing whether the stroller was actually indestructible and telling Michael to leave a distinguishing mark on the baby…good stuff.
One thing I noticed was that I am starting to like Angela and Andy together. Is it just me, or has Dwight been more caustic and not seeming like part of Dwangela? I liked the the scene where they were taking Astrid’s pictures in the bounty of fruit and vegetables.
I really liked this episode. MUCH better than last week. I loved the ending with JAM leaving messages.
The pictures of “Astird” in the fruits and veggies had to have turned out adorably. I wonder if Angela put Isabel in the basket for some pictures next!
My favorite line of the whole episode was when Darryl asked Michael if he wanted to hold him and see how it made him feel.
@Paige: I think I’m starting to like them together too!
Oh My Goodness!
First I must say….the last scene brought tears to my eyes as we saw how Holly was so moved my Michael giving her a hug. Great moment!
But y’know….I believe Jan is playing him like a violin.
The question that came to mind was, “Why should she care who Michael dates – unless – this baby really IS HIS!” (Soap Opera music swells..)
(And Jan sees that Holly is a true threat because she is ‘perfect’ for him….hmmmmmm…and perhaps this, Jan cannot accept.)
Will be interesting to see how this develops over this season!
(I hate to say it, but….I’ve sorta lost interest in J&P for now.)
@Kris: Yea, Jan’s clearly playing Michael and I’m so proud of him for realizing it! I’ve also been wondering if the baby’s really his.
I loved the episode but I really hate the way jan is treating michael, I hope he does go out with holly. pam and jim, made me sigh and hope that she comes back soon!
@esther: I hate the way she’s treating michael too.
