Office fan Tiffany got a chance to interview Barry Sigismondi aka W.B. Jones a couple weeks ago. Her interviews are always a fun read and very insightful.

Tell us about your day on the set of The Office.

Pretty much a full day even though we really only shot one scene and my commercial for WB Jones Heating and Air. It’s always exciting to be on a set shooting, especially when it’s for a show you love and admire. Everyone was great and even though they hardly knew me, they all treated me like I was one of the gang. Ed Helms as Andy and Brian Bumgartner as Kevin were really great and extremely funny! BJ Novak was on the set and the writer of the Chair Model episode, and he was just fantastic to work with and lots of fun!

Here’s the latest news about ‘The Office’ Spin-Off. The spin-off will debut after the super bowl in 2009 after ‘The Office’ at 9:30pm.

NBC also confirmed that “Saturday Night Live” star Amy Poehler will topline in a new comedy series from Greg Daniels and Michael Schur. But instead of the show being a substitute for the previously announced “Office” spinoff, the new Poehler comedy will be produced in addition to an “Office” spinoff.

“We’re trying to build a creative greenhouse around ‘The Office,’ ” Silverman said.

Maintaining a Normal Body Temperature During the Summer Months

Attention readers: this web log will be doubling as a public service announcement because people are literally DYING out there.

We are in the thick of summer, people. The sun, while a huge ally of the Earth, also serves as one of our biggest enemies. It provides light that we use to see, but it can also scorch your skin into a red blistering mess. There are so many heat-related illnesses that it’s almost impossible to name them all: heatstroke, heat rash, heat cramps, heat exhaustion, heat edema, heat tetany, heat syncope, heat mumps. The list goes on and on. The sun lurks silently in the sky, waiting to claim its next human victim and it’s up to us to stop it.

Hey Dunderheads!

I’ve had this idea for a couple months now and I thought this would be something fun to do for the fans. My idea is to have a deserving Office fan recieve a (pretend) Dundie Award each week. This isn’t a contest so no prize involved, but only a simple graphic of a Dundie Award with he/she’s name beside it and your Dundie Award title. The way to get a Dundie Award is if someone nominates you or you nominate a deserving fan.

How do I nominate a friend for an award? Simple, just email me at netteslayouts@aol.com with a paragraph or two explaining why you think this person deserves a Dundie. Each week I’ll pick the MOST deserving Office fan who will recieve one. The deserving recipient will also be the Dunderhead of the week with a special blog posted about them and why they’re so special. I need any one of these things to contact them, their email, MySpace, facebook, ect. I need someway to get in contact with them to give them their pretend Dundie.

Some examples of qualifications I’m looking for in someone to recieve a Dundie Award are:

-HUGE fan of ‘The Office’. Maybe this person has their myspace,facebook etc plastered with all Office graphics? Maybe all they do is talk about it 24/7.

-Maybe they’re a huge Office fan who’s had a bad week,month, and needs something that would lift their spirits.

-Maybe they contribute in spreading the word about ‘The Office’ and you take notice.

These are just a few examples of why you’d nominate a fan. Clearly you’d only nominate an Office fan because they would only appreciate recieving a Dundie Award. This is not a popularity contest, I will only go by who is the most deserving of the nominations for that week.

The first Dundie Award given out will be on Monday, July 28th and will continue every Monday as long as I have nominations. If you’re friend is not picked that week, don’t worry because I’ll save all nominations and go through them each week. Please do not nominate yourself.

I hope that you can get involved in this because who wouldn’t want to recieve a Dundie? Oh, and you might just make a friends day! ~Nette

CNN: First of all, let me congratulate you on receiving an Emmy nomination for your role as Dwight Schrute on “The Office.” What was your reaction?

Rainn Wilson: Thank you. Just, “Woooohooooo.”

CNN: Dwight’s such an extremely popular character that the bobblehead doll of your character is in cubicles all over the country. What do you think of the bobble craze?

Wilson: I think outrageous. It’s the best-selling thing in the history of the NBC Universal store, and I have no idea why anyone would want to get my big weird bobbling head on a doll.

I was actually watching CNN when this happened yesterday! It was really funny!

I’ve been trying something new lately and it’s really put a new spin on how I go through my days. Instead of waking up ten minutes before work and wiping myself down with a damp paper towel, I’ve been waking up really early and going for walks all over town. You’d be amazed at how quiet this place is without people in it. I haven’t felt this peaceful in years.
